Indian famous indigenous games like Kabaddi, Kho- Kho, Ball badminton, Atya Patya attracts a lot of sports persons at international sports arena. Now, a year old new ball game named ‘Kickball’ from Andhra pradesh state in India, after its mighty success with coaching camps at high school level in native kapada district, is ready to attract sports lovers around globe.

Kikbol is a chasing type team ball game. It is played by two teams of ten players each in a square shaped play field with one inning each. The side which has scored in its one inning a total of goals in excess of that scored by the opposing side in its completed innings shall win the match.

Nadamala Gangadhara Reddy , a Novelist, sports writer and  Senior lecturer in library science at Rayalaseema college of physical education , Proddatur  invented kickball game in the year 2008. Sri C.Ramasudhakara Reddy, secretary and Dr.B.Ravi Sankar, Principal Rayalaseema College of Physical Education released kickball rules and inaugurated First Kick ball match which was held among physical education trainees of the college on 21st Sep,2008. Later, It got permission from the Regional director of school education, kadapa to play and conduct kickball game at high Schools of the district. Within a short period of time kikbol game became a favorite game to the high school children by the kikbol coaching camps and Intramural competitions.
